Thank you for considering B + H for your special event! B+H is located on a beautiful farm with rolling hills near the Blue Ridge mountains. It offers lots of privacy and beautiful views. It includes a barn built from reclaimed lumber (capacity of approximately 150), a historic cabin and adjoining swimming pool and tennis court, and expansive grounds. It is the ideal place for vacations, reunions, graduation celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and receptions.
Event Package
Our intent is to provide a beautiful, private setting that is reasonably priced. Half- or full-day rentals are available.
The rental includes:
- Barn made with reclaimed lumber (it includes a 50’ X 50’ space, two bathrooms, and a small utility kitchen. It comes with indoor string lighting, four trash cans. Capacity: 150)
- An outdoor stone patio with a fire pit
- Historic cabin and the ground floor of the historic Burwell-Holland Homeplace.
Rentals include wooden handmade tables and benches.

One-Day Rentals for Special Events
The Barn can also be rented for stand-alone events such as rehearsal dinners and/or receptions. One-day rehearsal dinner and one-day wedding reception rentals are available.
Vacation Cabin Rentals
B+H is the perfect summer getaway. The historic cabin includes a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and two 2.5 bedrooms. Capacity: 6. The rental also includes a full-size swimming pool and tennis court. Walking trails on the farm are also available.
